Stant’s Research & Development Lab is equipped to simulate the harshest of conditions, from dusty desert roads in Arizona to the brutal winters in Minnesota. Stant utilizes a dozen environmental chambers to recreate extreme conditions of:
- Temperature
- Humidity
- Salt spray
- Vibration
- Dust
- Fuel exposure
These conditions are replicated to ensure all Stant products meet the stringent requirements of today’s automotive marketplace. Beyond the component level, entire Fuel Tank Systems are tested in our Fuel Lab, which is equipped to produce environment and fuel temperatures ranging from 12° to 55°C. Thermostat performance testing can be executed in our cooling lab with flows up to 250GPM and temperatures from -50° to 140°C.
Other testing capabilities include:
- Coordinate Measurement Machine
- OGP Smartscope
- Surface Profile
- Conductivity Testing
- Helium Low Leak Testing
- Salt Spray Testing
- Torque Testing
- Environmental and Fuel Testing
- Vacuum Leak Testing
- Mass Flow Testing
- Pressure Decay Testing
- Design and build of engineering lab test cells for Design Validation Testing
- Cycle Testing
- Curability Testing
- Leak and Flow Testing
