Stant’s 20 years of success and experiences in fuel system vapor venting and liquid control has led to the development of the next generation of Inlet Check Valve (ICV). The Stant project development team focused on ways to achieve market-leading cost competitiveness, while improved product performance and market flexibility.

The Stant product development team embarked on competitive benchmarking and polling of the current domestic, new-domestic, and international customers to generate a list of global requirements and design objectives. The objective of the Compact ICV was to provide a globally marketable product with capabilities that exceed all customer performance and durability requirements, while providing packaging flexibility to appeal to any global customer.
