InStant Fill Cap Installation and Use Instructions

Please read instructions carefully.

IF11) Before installing the InStant Fill Cap, remove the existing fuel cap. If the cap has a tether, this must be removed as well.

IF2

2) Looking into the fuel pipe you will notice that the pipe gets smaller and may have a small flapper door. The fuel nozzle must be inserted through this door as well prior to refueling. IF7
IF33) Install the InStant Fill cap the same way you install your existing cap. Twist on clockwise and tighten.
IF44) Using the key, which fits in the slots on either side of the trap door, continue rotating the cap until the arrow is pointing down. Do not rotate counter-clockwise to get arrow in the correct position. Remove the key when the cap is properly positioned. The arrow must point down toward the ground. Failure to do so could result in fuel spray, premature pump shut off or damage to the cap.
IF5

5) Please make sure nozzle is fully inserted before refueling. This is accomplished by having the nozzle inserted through the InStant Fill cap and through the smaller diameter hole in the filler pipe described in step 2.
You may need to move the nozzle around slightly to make sure you have it fully inserted. Once the nozzle is fully inserted, begin refueling slowly to ensure the nozzle is inserted correctly. If so, you may refuel normally.

Note: Not recommended with vapor hooded nozzles. On hooded nozzles you may need to hold the nozzle in position to refuel properly or remove the cap and refuel without using the InStant Fill cap.

Note: If you are having difficulty, you may remove the cap and refuel without using the InStant cap.

IF6

Warning: Do not spray this cap directly with a stream of water. This may allow water to enter the fuel system.
