Research & Development

Research & Development Lab

Stant’s Research & Development Lab is equipped to simulate the harshest of conditions, from dusty desert roads in Arizona to the brutal winters in Minnesota.

Stant utilizes a dozen environmental chambers to recreate extreme conditions of:
  • Temperature
  • Humidity
  • Salt spray
  • Vibration
  • Dust
  • Fuel exposure
These conditions are replicated to ensure all Stant products meet the stringent requirements of today’s automotive marketplace.

Beyond the component level, entire Fuel Tank Systems are tested in our Fuel Lab, which is equipped to produce environment and fuel temperatures ranging from 12° to 55°C.

Thermostat performance testing can be executed in our cooling lab with flows up to 250GPM and temperatures from -50° to 140°C.

Other Testing Capabilities Include:
  • Coordinate Measurement Machine
  • OGP Smartscope
  • Surface Profile

Stant USA Corporation is proud to support and sponsor numerous community programs and charitable events. The importance of community involvement is greatly emphasized at Stant USA, and we prove this through our constant participation in the following programs:

  • Stant-A-Claus is a non-profit fund that is used to help needy children within our community to have a great Christmas. Monetary contributions and gift donations are accepted from Stant associates in order to supply Christmas presents to the children.

  • Junior Achievement of Eastern Indiana is a program that funds instruction about the American Free Enterprise System to students in Indiana schools. Junior Achievement is a volunteer based program, and Stant USA contributes a monetary donation to the cause each year.

  • United Way contributions are made each year by Stant USA associates during the Fayette County United Way Drive. Donations are used to support local organizations such as the Red Cross, Boy Scouts of America, Fayette County Cancer Society and many more.

  • Stant College Scholarship Program offers scholarships of $2,000 per year for up to four years to the children of Stant USA associates. All applicants must be a senior at an accredited secondary school who will graduate in the 12 month period preceding enrollment in the college of his/her choice.
